Abstract
In this paper, a trial and numerical examination was received to research the impact geogrid soil fortification prestressing on the weight settlement connection of sand bed supporting a strip establishment. The examined boundaries incorporate foundation depth furthermore, pre-stress proportion for the instances of multy fortification layers.. The best advantage of pre-focusing on fortification was gotten as the overburden pressure and pre-stressing proportion increment. Pre-stressing of four fold support highest layers brings about further improvement of Load intensity Vs Settlement connection of bed soil. Soil Reinforcement is a fruitful and reliable method for improving the quality and adequacy of soil. The invigorated soil or precisely settled out earth is a compacted soil fill, strengthened by the thought of ductile parts like geogrids, geotextiles, metal bars and strips. It is right now settled in overpowering advancement industry for the improvement of structures like retaining w

Abstract
Since the publication of Terzaghi’s theory on the ultimate bearing capacity of shallow foundations in 1943, results of numerous studies—both theoretical and experimental—by various investigators have been published. Most of the studies relate to the case of a vertical load applied centrally to the foundation. Meyerhof (1953) developed empirical procedures for estimating the ultimate bearing capacity of foundations subjected to eccentric and inclined loads. Based on the review of the existing literature on the bearing capacity of shallow foundations, it appears that limited attention has been paid to estimate the ultimate bearing capacity when the foundation is subjected to both eccentric and inclined load and the objective of present study stems from this paucity. Besides, only a few studies have been made to estimate the average settlement of embedded footings when subjected to eccentric load. The braced soil is the earth where the metallic, produced or geogrids are given to work on i

Abstract
When a grid-connected inverter is connected to a weak grid, the system may be instable. An adaptive active damper can be connected to the point of common coupling (PCC), which can automatically regulate a virtual resistor to the critical value to stabilize the system. Furthermore, A harmonic current reference compensation technique is used to regulate the simulation of virtual resistor in wide frequency range. This paper showcases the use of the harmonic current reference compensation technique for the stationary α−β frame, synchronous d−q frame and decoupled synchronous d−q frame controlled three phase adaptive active damper. With the help of this method the adaptive active damper directly controls the reactive and active power and also improves the stability of the grid connected inverters under weak grid

Abstract
Illumination is undoubtedly a vital aspect in mining operations. Properly designed and implemented lightning system would provide the mine workers with improved visibility and contribute to improved safety, productivity, and high level of morale. In this thesis a detailed survey has been carried out for a large-scale opencast coal mine. Survey data revealed that illumination levels at major parts of mine are below recommended levels. Detailed calculation showed that illumination cost is insignificant component of overall production cost. A little increase in production cost would bring the light level of mine up to desired standards. As per DGMS of India the mine lighting should be designed and installed with proper lamps and fixtures regarding height, orientation, spacing and reflectors or other accessories, to secure a uniform distribution of light on the work area for visual comfort and avoiding objectionable shadows, sharp contrasts of intensity, glare, light clutter (excessive gro
